Tom Manche, Allied Member, A.S.I.D.
As the owner of Tom Manche Interiors, Tom believes that
quality, attention to detail and client satisfaction are the hallmarks of his business. Each client
receives the same treatment whether the client is re-designing one room or an entire house. He began his business in 1997
and he has completed many exciting residential projects since that time, including a Caribbean Villa and a lodge home in Aspen,
Colorado.
Tom has honed his innate ability for style, color selection and space planning through experience and
is now considered one of St. Louis’ top interior designers. His work is regularly featured in St. Louis magazines and
newspapers and his work can also be seen in two interior design books – French by Design by Betty
Lou Phillips and Spectacular Homes of the Heartland.
Tom Manche Interiors is a full service
design firm and can take a project from beginning to end by coordinating all aspects of design from architectural drawings
to the grout used in tiles. Tom’s workroom produces window treatments, bed coverings, pillows, bed benches/ottomans,
headboards, reupholstery, and other custom made items.
He employs painters, tile installers, electricians, carpet
layers, carpenters, muralists – whoever is needed to complete a project. These craftpersons are polite, trustworthy
and the best in their fields, adding to the good reputation of Tom Manche Interiors.
Community
service is a very important part of Tom Manche’s personal life and he is very involved in the arts in St. Louis. He
is Vice President/Chairman of Events on the board of directors of Dance St. Louis and annually sits on fund raising committees
for organizations such as the Arts & Education Council, the Science Center, The Sheldon, and the St. Louis Symphony
to name a few.
